If you pay UK Income or Capital Gains Tax, the masjid can reclaim 25p from HMRC for every £1 you give — at no cost to you. You just need to give your name and home address so the claim can be made.
Yes. Zakat is held as a restricted fund and accounted for separately. It is never spent on the building or the running costs, and reaches only those eligible to receive it.
There is a cancel link in every receipt email, and you can call the masjid at any time. No notice is needed and nobody will ask you why.

Yes — use the dedication box. A sadaqah jariyah given on behalf of someone who has passed away continues to benefit them, in sha Allah.
Into the cause you choose. The trustees report on how funds are spent, and restricted funds such as Zakat and the building appeal are accounted for separately from general running costs.
