From a child's first Qaidah to the six-year Darse Nizami. Every course begins with an enquiry — nothing is paid online, and we will guide you from there.

Fees shown are from the old website and are not yet confirmed. The ladder is inconsistent — the six-month course is the joint-cheapest, and the per-month rate varies threefold — so we have asked the masjid to verify every figure before this goes live.

Children's Madrassah

Our madrassah runs after school each weekday. Children begin with the Qaidah — the letters and their sounds — and move on to reading the Qur'an fluently, learning Tajweed, and for those who wish to, memorisation. Alongside the Qur'an they learn the basics of the faith: how to pray, what the pillars mean, and the manners the Prophet ﷺ taught.

The teachers are patient. Children arrive tired from a full school day, and the class is run with that in mind. There is no fee for the madrassah — it is funded by the community, for the community.

Darse Nizami

A distinguished curriculum spanning six to eight years, designed to develop both scholars and community leaders. The programme integrates the traditional Islamic sciences with contemporary issues — students gain a foundational understanding of the faith alongside the practical skill of applying that knowledge in a modern context, which is what distinguishes a scholar from someone who has simply memorised a syllabus.

The emphasis throughout is on in-depth study of the Arabic language, Fiqh, Hadith and Tafsir, and on intellectual and spiritual growth together rather than one at the expense of the other.

Islamic Essentials

A holistic journey into the core Islamic sciences, taught in three connected modules rather than as separate subjects. It is the course to take if you want one grounding that covers belief, practice and character together.

No prior study is assumed. Each module stands on its own, but taken in order they build on one another.

Learn Hadith

The sayings of the Prophet ﷺ — their chains of narration, their meanings, and the way scholars have drawn guidance from them. The course moves between the text itself and what it asks of us now.

Students read selected ahadith in Arabic with translation, so the language grows alongside the understanding.

Learn Aqeedah

The fundamentals of belief, studied carefully rather than assumed. Tawheed, the attributes of Allah, prophethood, the unseen, the afterlife and divine decree — the questions that sit underneath everything else a Muslim does.

The approach is to read what the classical scholars actually wrote, and to take contemporary doubts seriously rather than wave them away.

Learn Seerah

The life of the Prophet ﷺ told in order — Makkah, the migration, Madinah, and the final sermon — with attention to why each stage unfolded as it did and what it was teaching the companions at the time.

Less a chronology to memorise than a life to learn from. Each session closes on what the episode asks of us today.

Learn Quran

For adults starting from the beginning, or picking it up again after years away. The class works from the letters and their sounds up to reading fluently from the Mushaf, at whatever pace the group needs.

Many of our students never had the chance as children. Nobody is made to feel awkward about where they are starting.

Learn Tazkiyah

Purification of the soul — sincerity, patience, gratitude, and the quiet work of noticing what moves the heart in the wrong direction. Rooted throughout in the Qur'an and the Sunnah rather than in generalities.

The course is practical. Each theme comes with something to actually do between sessions.

No. Every course begins with an enquiry, and fees are settled with the masjid directly. The madrassah is free.

No. Many of our adult students never had the chance as children. The teachers are used to beginners of every age and nobody is made to feel awkward about it.

The language of instruction varies by course and teacher — this is one of the details we have asked the masjid to confirm. Mention your preference in the enquiry and we will match you appropriately.
